Who is this kid??? Poor Ash and his puffy face. We learned yesterday he has childhood nephrotic syndrome. His little legs and belly are a little swollen right now bc of fluid backup. Sounds scary but his long term outlook is good. He will likely outgrow it by adolescence. For now with this and future lapses we just have to be a bit careful with blood pressure and infections. Thankfully he will be able to participate in all the normal fun silly things 5 year olds love to do. Of course with ash that means animal crafts, animal books, and going to the zoo!

Library book from school!

Ashton and Jordan were so excited to sign out a book from the library. They had to prove they were responsible before they could borrow a book. They even washed their hands before opening the book. Read on you book worms!

Ashton was all but sleep walking after school today. They went to music class today, but they didn't sing. They just "sang" 2 songs and they practiced getting in line!

Finally asleep before the big day. Mrs Petruccelli gave us magic dust to help us sleep. Ash put his on his pillow and jojo held hop hops with one hand and magic dust with the other. Sleep tight my little honey bunnies
