Our first big outing! We took mommy and daddy to Ithaca to visit the farmer's market and Jillian's Drawers. While there Daddy bought us a special toy, a really neat ball that we love to play with. Mommy and daddy were nervous driving down I81. Like Aunt Kim said when you have little ones in the car you can't help but worry about 'all the bad drivers' out there. With little ones it seems there are so many! The 'rents' have slowed down some themselves. Mommy used to tease about Grandpa Chandler's driving. Now she's driving more like him. Mommy and daddy are learning alot as new parents.

other strange visitors

and then we had a very scary visitor last Friday night at our house! Vampire Cousin Adam!

What a treat! We looked out our back window Monday morning and found this 6 pointer resting in our back yard. He laid there in a pile of leaves near our wood pile for about 20 minutes then carried on his way.

Kent, Cindy and Adam were scared of Jordan and Ashton's scary faces!

We loved our visit with Aunt Jane and Nanny. We never touched the floor or other surfaces as we were held all the time with lots of love. We are thankful that Uncle Brad and Aunt Sara spent part of their honeymoon with us. We loved Aunt Sara's storytime.

Twins! I read a perfect quote yesterday regarding twins, yes "twice the work" but "four times the fun". We have many fun moments. This picture was taken this morning and captures the spirit of twins. They are taking a nap together in their crib. It melted my heart to see them. In the picture below they are holding hands during another nap. And, they are talking to each other in their baby chairs. She squeals in a high pitched voice and he mumbles in a low pitched voice. It is so much fun to watch them engage with each other. When they woke this morning, I peeked in on them and was greeted by two adorable, bright, and big smiles. What a way to start the day....
